In today's dangerous world, using the Internet may be really risky if you don't know how to protect yourself properly from viruses or hackers. That's why it's a very good idea to change your IP address when browsing the Internet, so that no hacker or virus can attack you. For this, you will need to use a proxy, which is actually a virtual IP which will replace your real one.

For this to be possible, you can use the SocksChain application, which is a specialized program for hiding your IP and identity on the Internet. The application is very simple to install and after launching it, the user will be presented with a simple interface which will list all the web browsers installed into the system. For each browser, the user will be able to configure a proxy server, which will take over the real IP address of the computer.

Several types of proxy servers are supported by SocksChain. For example, the application can use SOCKS or HTTP proxies. The application is able to interact with any website and make it think that the new IP address is actually the computer's real one. What's more, the user will be able to change the proxy server using a single mouse click, for an even higher level of security.
